Got this great note from Darren Vanessen:
"Both kids and adults had a great time and I think the kids showed the adults a few new things as well. We had an amazing week. We boated over 700 fish as a group on the week. Overall, we boated 18 fish of 40” or greater in 5 days. This was a big number and well exceeded our expectations. We attribute this type of success to a great pike fishery, steady weather conditions and hard grind it out style of fishing. While we didn’t target walleye, we did catch enough for a few great shore lunches as well. Here are a few details of our 18 40”+ fish along with a few of the highlight pictures. All 18 of the fish were released in great shape due to short stays in the boat and the use of single barbless hooks. We had zero fatalities which we work real hard to do. I know there is lot of info here and data, but I thought you might find it interesting as well.
