Our newly completed 4000' runway took 2 years of blood, sweat and tears to complete this massive project. Countless loads of clay were excavated, moved, bladed and packed. We hauled over 400 loads of gravel this past winter to complete this all weather airstrip. This incredible feat vaults Silsby into the elite category of the few resorts in Canada operating their own private airstrip good enough to land large turbo prop jets.
